Jury comments: With conceptual rigor and attention to detail, this project takes a hard look at how towers are built and how mechanical and structural systems may be integrated in a modular prefabricated assembly. The project is based upon three principals: human qualities, business objectives, and sustainability. It is clear that the design is generated from an integrated team of architects, structural and mechanical engineers, and sustainability experts. Often such projects are not grounded in reality but this one seems achievable.
