Jury comments: Thoughtful and respectful, this project focuses on the rehabilitation and reactivation of underutilized buildings in an historic district in Lisbon. Interventions include internal courtyards, integrating public amenities with vertical circulation, and knitting the urban fabric together with a series of bridges. Colorful tile work on the building facades is celebrated.
