Everything is compelling in this multi-use research space. The graphics are stunning, with yellow caution-tape-type fonts on neutral wood contrasting with the hot rolled steel and black lab surfaces. A perimeter cyber bar, together with meeting pods, provides collaborative yet private spaces carved in ways that suggest the architect understands how to sculpt. The faceted pods and pendant lights are technically interesting, incorporating a combination of digital modeling, CNC-milling, and hand crafted assembly. The rolling technical carts are clever yet simple. The space seems very comfortable, with a balance between clinical and soft surfaces.
