Jury comments: This infill project is a prototype for future infills on tiny, challenging sites, presenting vertically stacked living as a manageable and attractive lifestyle. The building is organized like a full-scale skyscraper, linked by a strong core of vertical circulation. Efficiency doesn’t override the aesthetic, either. This is high design.
