Jury comments: 7 East Springfield Street is a handsome multifamily building, well-scaled and respectful of its historic neighbors. A play on the Back Bay townhouse, this project incorporates brickwork and references the rhythm of the fenestration, but makes it all fully modern. Any way you look at it, the building looks good, and it looks like it belongs.
