Jury comments: This pedestrian bridge could have been a forgettable utilitarian project. The architect brings artistry PedX with sculptural panels and thoughtful lighting that create a passage that is elevated, in all senses of the world. This project challenges the profession to take on other interventions–not just buildings–that can better the urban realm.
