Jury comments: This interior project demonstrates great planning and an innovative view of designing for collaboration. We appreciated the notion of making mini spaces of a larger one while using navigational cues on the floor. The space reflects the culture of its users–which is key to successful interior work–but the design is not timeless. In some ways interior projects don’t need to be, though the abundant use of yellow here may make this work feel dated by next year. There’s a DIY aesthetic that works well, though at times we were unclear about the architect’s intent.
