Jury comments: A bridge artfully links two significant urban sites, creating distinct moments of arrival and a safe crossing from one to the other. Geometrically shaped steep girders flow in rhythm with the topography. More than a bridge, this is a whole landscape intervention and plan. It is outstanding—infrastructure elevated to art.
